Inuzuka Shino Moritaka and Inukai Genpachi Nobumichi, Utagawa Kuniyoshi
Utagawa Kuniyoshi (歌川国芳) was one of the last great masters of ukiyo-e. His works depict many subjects, but his prints featuring warriors were the most successful. He also produced many caricature and humourous prints, especially due to political oppression in the 1840s. Kuniyoshi loved cats, and they are found in many of his prints. Yoshitoshi is his most notable student.
